Publishing Safeguards
Your ideas matter. Your safety matters more.
Principles Guiding Our Publishing Practices
Not every publishing platform is built for beginners. This one is Next Researcher exists to support learning—not extract output. Our safeguards are designed to protect early authors from confusion, coercion, and misuse while helping them grow into confident, ethical researchers.
Built for Learners, Grounded in Ethics
Designed to protect
early-stage authors
Our safeguards prioritise learning, consent, and student well-being at every stage of the publishing journey.
Zero tolerance for unethical
or exploitative practices
Attempts to bypass ethical standards, or misrepresent authorship results in rejection and disqualification.
Transparent, accountable
editorial processes
Submissions follow clear policies, documented review processes, and defined decision criteria.
Authors, Parents, Teachers, and Institutions
You can expect openness, fairness, and accountability—without hidden conditions or guarantees.
Publishing your first research work is a moment of excitement—and vulnerability.
At iNext Researcher, we recognise that early-stage authors are still learning how research, writing, and publishing truly work. That is why our publishing process is guided by clear safeguards.
These safeguards exist to ensure fairness, ethical practice, student safety, and respect for originality—at every stage of submission and review.
This page explains the principles, policies, and protections that shape how we support young researchers, while maintaining credibility, transparency, and trust.

Independent Student Researchers
Students who may not currently be enrolled but are working on structured academic or research-oriented work intended for learning and academic growth.
Submissions are evaluated on quality and ethics, not institutional affiliation.

Original work created by the author
Clear thinking and honest effort
Proper acknowledgement of sources

What iNext Researcher Is Not For
To maintain focus and fairness, iNext Researcher is not intended for:
Doctoral or postdoctoral research
Commercial or promotional content
Guaranteed or pay-to-publish outcomes
Work submitted on behalf of someone else

A Note on Acceptance
Submitting an article does not guarantee publication.
All submissions go through editorial and review processes designed to be educational and supportive, especially for student authors. Rejection is part of learning and does not reflect personal ability or future potential.

Editorial Policy
iNext Researcher is a research publishing platform designed for school students and undergraduate learners. Our goal is to encourage early research thinking, clear communication, and ethical academic practice.
We welcome original work that demonstrates curiosity, structured thinking, and honest effort. Submissions are evaluated based on clarity, originality, relevance, ethical conduct, and academic intent—not on institutional prestige or prior publishing experience.
All submissions go through an initial set of checks and an editorial review. Some articles may also undergo peer review, which may include AI-assisted tools used under human supervision.
Publication on iNext Researcher is not guaranteed. Decisions are made fairly and consistently, and rejection does not reflect a student's ability or potential.
Our editorial process is designed to be educational and supportive, especially for first-time authors.
Peer Review & Evaluation Process
How Articles Are Reviewed
Submitting your work can feel intimidating. We want you to understand exactly what happens after you click "submit."
Initial Checks
Your article is checked for language quality, inappropriate content, and similarity with existing work.
Editorial Evaluation
An editor reviews your article to assess whether it meets basic academic and ethical standards.
Peer Review
Some articles are sent for peer review. This may involve an editor, an external reviewer, or AI-assisted review tools under human oversight.
Revisions
You may be asked to revise your article. This is a normal part of academic writing and does not mean your work is poor.
Final Decision
After revisions, the article is either accepted for publication or declined with feedback.
We aim to keep you informed at every stage and will clearly communicate when action is required from you.
Ethics, Originality & Plagiarism Policy
iNext Researcher promotes honest academic work. Originality does not mean your ideas must be completely new—it means the work is genuinely yours and properly acknowledges sources.
All submissions undergo a similarity check. A similarity score by itself does not mean plagiarism. Editors look at context, citations, and intent.
If issues are identified, authors are usually given an opportunity to revise and learn from the process.
Deliberate plagiarism, misrepresentation of authorship, or misuse of AI tools without disclosure may lead to rejection.
Our approach is educational first, especially for student authors.
AI Usage Disclosure
Use of AI Tools
iNext Researcher uses AI-based tools to support parts of the publishing process, such as language improvement, similarity checking, and review assistance.
AI tools do not make final publication decisions. All decisions are overseen by human editors.
Authors remain fully responsible for the content they submit. We encourage ethical and transparent use of AI tools in writing and research.
Our aim is to use technology to support learning—not to replace human judgment.
